Red Cross

The Italian Red Cross Association (CRI), an association for social development and support, aims at providing health and social assistance both in peacetime and in times of conflict. It is an outstanding association which is under the high patronage of the President of the Italian Republic. CRI is part of the International Red Cross Movement.

In its activities at international level, it works alongside the International Committee of the Red Cross and the Federation of the Red Crescent.

In accordance with its fundamental principles, the Italian Red Cross ensures reception and defends the right to health for every human being.

The Italian Red Cross has always actively participated in the assistance and reception of all migrants who have reached Sardinian coasts.
